All I have heard for the past two days on the news is that one of the witnesses to the 7 corners shooting can not be considered credible.
Reasons are given. Blah blah blah. Possible decoy, yadda, yadda…
What I want to know is is that guy who was everywhere giving interviews after witnessing the events ( the guy with the funky accent and last name began with an M, I think.) is it him?
Has anyone seen that guy lately or has he burned out of his fifteen minutes of fame yet?
I was suspicious of the witness’ acount from the beginning. He identified a specific variant of one type of rifle which raised a red flag for me. Someone very familiar with guns would have a very hard time making that ID from a distance which lead me to believe it was a blowhard seeking his 15 minutes. Makes me wonder if he’s an Al Queida plant.
Also, CNN is claiming that a car rental agency employee found a spent shell casing in a white box truck. The AP wire doesn’t have anything on it though.
How many people exaggerate what they see when they describe it to the cops?
One wonders if this was done with malice or just dumbness and the cops are busting him because they have been ale to do anything else.
He didn’t exaggerate, he made it up out of whole cloth. He wasn’t at the scene, and gave detailed descriptions of the van and gun that sent people looking for the wrong things. He got busted because he did something incredibly stupid and it wasted resources that could have been doing something useful.
