When I was younger, my Dad would bring my brother and I to NH, to watch people drag race their street cars. They would predict their time, and be grouped by times. If they went too fast they “broke out”, automatically losing.
Sure. We have a 1/8 mile dragstrip near where I grew up, and they host bracket racing all the time (even if they don’t update their website). I didn’t go often, but I could hear it 3 miles away where I lived.
Yes. The “drag track” is my neighbourhood streets on weekday nights.
Emily: Guess you didn’t read the OP!!! I was plainly referring to tracks!!!
Lots of times. I’ve even taken several of my own cars. I never did bracket racing though. I don’t like the idea of slowing yourself down so you don’t break out.
Unnecessary and very rude, etv. You should apologize to Emily.
Chill, Winston.
Please explain why I owe an apology to someone who can’t be bothered to read the OP, and respond appropriately!!!
If you need that to be explained to you, maybe you’d be better off not engaging in conversation with anybody, ever.
I’m closing this topic since it’s off-course now. When the OP comes back from his forced vacation, he can feel free to make it again as long as he can remain cordial to those who reply.
