First name = 18,800,000
Last name = 4,950,000
Name in quotes = 33,300
I am an NBA star, and actor (I was in Men In Black), a British artist, numerous professors, etc.

I did this years ago. I seem to own a brickworks in South Africa as well as being an Argentine soccer player.
Name in quotes = 2.
1st hit is my web.
2nd hit is my name on a web site I built for the SO, but contains my name 'cos I did the lighting for one of her plays and the crit. gave me credict for the lighting plot.
Three pages of hits. ALL for my alter-ego, who has a Sandblasting company.
My PDF essays on Corporations Law used to show up though.
My maiden name has numerous hits thanks to a journalist who shares that name. She’s apparently in the Florida area and has a liberal bend. It’s weird; she seems to be living the life I’d once wanted for myself–the globe-trotting journalist. Well, it’s good one of us did that.
Oh, 7,860 hits for it (first and last name).
Yes, my home page is there. So are some of my online published stuff. I count 4 of the pages as actually referring to me, and not my Cuban counterpart (she married Irish, thus the same surname).
Under my far less common married name: 28 hits. First 4 are all referring to me; first two are my own web pages.
I get just 137 hits for my name - one of which is actually me!! My company’s annual report for 2001!!
Also, found someone looking for my Great-Aunt (go figure).
Gp
I am a prolific web mistress, so many of the sites listed are from my own sites. Other listings are for people linking to my sites (especially my art-related sites). I also have a few “reviews” for some artwork I did years ago. I have an unusual name, so I don’t really have many namesakes. There are a few people who show up in the UK, though. (My last name is more common in the UK than it is in the US.) My last name yields a fabulous male model/actor who has some sort of variety show in South America, a singer in England, and a murderer in South Dakota.
There is also a real estate company in the UK that uses my last name as their domain name. But they only have the .net and .org domains, because I bought the .com domain a long time ago! Mwahahaha!
My forename gets 5,510,000 hits, my surname gets 6,180,000 hits, and my full name gets 495,000 hits.
Apparently my name is unique. 45 hits, and they all refer to me. I was a NASA intern in college and my name somehow found its way on a published paper, so now I’m famous!
Heh. I just Google’d “Hamadryad.”
4,470 hits.
Apparently there is a Canadian progressive rock band called “Hamadryad,” a hospital in Great Britain somewhere called “Hamadryad,” the king cobra is a “Hamadryad,” John Waterhouse did a painting called “The Hamadryad”…and those accout for at least 3/5 of the hits I’ve seen so far. Most of the rest are dictionary definitions.
It also hit (in the first few pages) on the SDPeoplePages and someone’s pictures of the NYCDope in 2001.
I think it’s funny that my one-word handle gets less hits than some proper names.
Not one.
I feel comfortable anonymous.
But if my name does get out, everyone will know it has to be me.
44 hits, only one of which is me. I’m an actor from Ontario and a champion bowler from Beloit, Wisconsin.
Multiple hits on my real name. The first returned link is to my website.
For those who have websites…it’s sometimes fun, in a vanity sort of way, to use the link function at Google to see who has linked to your web site.
This is fun. I realized I haven’t given my own ‘stats’
First name: 26,100,000
Last name: 66,600,000
First last: 2,310,000
“first last”: 5,810
My doppelgangers include an Australian squash player, a bio professor, an artist, a Welsh soccer player, a pastor, a town councilperson, . . . but I couldn’t find the real me.
Maybe there’e more anonymity in having lots of hits than in having none or just a few.
Paul
nickname (which I use 99% of the time) plus last name: three hits that are actually about me (my work page, a letter to the editor that got printed in the newspaper, and my high school alum page)
my real first name plus last name: Nothing about me, though there are two college track competitors (one has my first name, the other has my last name) that keep popping up. My first and last names are also the names of towns in West Virginia.
My real first name: is really a place name, so I get a lot of Chambers of commerce-type hits.
My nickname: Huh, never knew this. There’s an actress with some fan pages who shares my first name.
My last name: Couple of random people out there, as well as info on an actor who shares my last name. More place names/genealogy site hits too.
First name = 451,000 hits (Anastasia - most of the hits are about the movie or the Russian Grand Duchess)
Last name = 59 hits (6 are about me, over half are me, my sister, or my father)
First name + Last name = 6 hits, all about me
I get 14. Most of which are at least in reference to me.
Also, apparently, I’m a member of a men’s doubles team somewhere. I always wanted to play tennis.
7 pages of hits. All but 4 are not about me. And most of those that aren’t are about one singer. Lead singer of the Detroit Cobras, actually. First time I saw her name was in Entertainment Weekly, and boy did it freak ME the heck out.
There’s also a student at FSU. And someone who posted on a message board with a rather annoying email address. The ones about me are about various things I did in high school.
