Just curious. There’s a group of local comedians who just released a movie called “Crazy Monkey: Straight Outta Benoni”. Before moving to South Africa, I’d never heard of it, but they claim to be fairly popular overseas, mainly in Europe on MTV Europe. I don’t know much about them, from what I gather they’re sort of a Jackass-lite type troupe.
So I’m just curious as to whether anyone here has heard of them, or if they’re overhyping their popularity.
