It’s a lot like a 12-person bike, but all the seats face inward (sideways to the road), and there’s a plank of wood in the middle that acts as a bar. There’s a roof over this thing to provide shade and a dancing girl in front. It’s propelled by all the customers pedalling. It is awesome.
I saw this on an “around the world” type tv show, and nowhere else. I’ve been trying to find pictures or information online, but that hasn’t gotten me very far. So I ask you; have you seen this thing? Or, any Lithuanian dopers wanna help me out with a website?
No, but I have seen a Redbull truck. There’s a few of them around, it’s a silver truck with a giant can of redbull in the back, and attractive young girls take them to colleges across the nation to hand out free redbull. I got one just last Tuesday.
Yes. The Redbull truck I’m familiar with, as well as both the Cheeps and the Pikachu VW bugs. That’s great in and of itself.
But a BEERMOBILE! It blows my mind. It’s kind of like a pedal powered bus in whihc you drink. On the show I saw, they interviewed some bored-looking cops about whether this vehicle is overstepping the legal boundries. They shrugged. “Technically, it’s more like a bicycle than a car. There’s really nothing we can do about it.”
