Haven

It looked to me like Nathan’s tattoo was “fresh”, you know, kinda still red-around-the-edges.

To me Nathan’s tattoo just looked like badly applied makeup of some sort,

Trippy.

I’m not buying this “I hate Duke because he activated my trouble and he wasn’t even sorry!”

All three main characters just need to get a room. Go ahead and have that frustrated bisexual three-way you all obviously want.

I agree, 13 eps just isn’t enough - and however they handle the Christmas ep, I’m still looking forward to it - extremely annoying that we have to way until NEXT SUMMER for the series to come back - dang it.

Nice chatting with you all about it, tho!

Go, Ah say go away, boy, you bother me.

You know something? I think it’s going to turn out, eventually, that Duke doesn’t have to kill someone to “cure” the curse. I think he just has to draw blood. Remember that his eyes did that funky glowy thing when he and Dwight were fighting? How much you want to bet that next season we find out that Dwight no longer attracts bullets?

I want Audrey to sleep with Duke. It’d be okay with me if she slept with Nathan too, though.

Morgyn, a lot of us agree with you. What we don’t know, though, is if Simon and the Rev lied to him and figured that dead was the “nuke it from orbit” option, or if they simply were also told that a death had to occur and never questioned it themselves.

You all should come post some on the official boards to show your support, espcially while we wait for the season renewal ::fingers crossed:: news. Renewal was announced was October 7th last year, so presumably we’ll know about season 3 one way or the other by the end of the month.

Never mind about support since renewal was announced today  But come argue with us anyway, it’s fun.

Yay! for renewal. Since, after that cliffhanger, I would have been very unhappy with another season’s rope to pull me up. Thoroughly enjoyed it, by the way. Didn’t see it coming.

How about a series-long thread? Man, I can’t believe it’s been three years since the last post. Or are there other threads I somehow didn’t find?

Possible spoilers below…

I check this show out on Netflix while in need of a supernatural themed show and ended up devouring the 4 seasons that were out at the time. It was such an enjoyable show, and I liked the chemistry between Audrey and Nathan immediately. There was definitely some eye rolling silliness and convoluted plot points along the way. But the cast and unraveling the mystery of The Troubles more than made up for it. And when they revealed Audrey’s barn buddy/lover/whatever and let him ham it up it got even better!

Sadly, now I’m more watching it more because I’m a bit of a completionist with TV shows. It’s just not that fun to watch any more. Maybe I’m just sick of TV shows deciding they need to have friends turn on each other? Duke and Nathan always had a complicated “friendship” but they had a bit of respect and trust for each other. Or maybe it’s the convoluted nature of how the writers are making them start to lose that trust? It’s not like there’s anything specific I can point to and say, “that’s wrong, he’d never do that…” But it’s just not sitting right for me.

And I don’t like Audrey much this season. Again, there’s nothing specific I can point to. She just doesn’t feel right anymore.

I hope it doesn’t sound like I’m here just to shit on the show! If it turns out that the Nathan/Duke gets patched up soon, or if they make me like the characters as much as I did in seasons 1-4 then this could just be a bit of a speed bump in an otherwise really good show.

I’m curious if anyone else feels the same. Or have my feelings on the show changed because I can’t watch 3-4 episodes in a marathon anymore? Having to wait a week between episodes definitely changes how I think about a show. It makes it harder to see the lackluster episodes as just a minor speedbump.
