There’s nothing wrong with someone taking a second job if the family needs the money, and volunteering is great when it’s done for the right reasons.

I understood your post to mean the person took the second job to avoid family life.

And I’ll admit that some women do run their husbands off in various ways too. Let’s face it, women also cheat as much as men. Who do you think most of those men are cheating WITH in the first place.

Their secretary? Some cougar down at the local bar?
Single parents may be happier than when they were married to some a-hole. But I have a hard time believing that they are happier than couples raising a child in a healthy marriage or singletons who want to stay single.
