Does anyone have this on tape? I am a big fan of David Simon’s work- “Homicide, A Year on the Killing Streets” is one of the best books I’ve ever read, and the TV series based upon it was the best cop drama series ever, bar none. I have known about the book “The Corner” for years, of course, but never had a chance to read it until now. It’s fantastic- and frightening. I understand the HBO miniseries was excellent, and I was wondring if anyone has it on tape, I’d like to borrow it. ( it’s not available on VHS or DVD ) I’ll pay all shipping costs if you don’t live locally.

Sorry, I don’t have it, but it re-airs quite regularly on the various HBO stations. You should also look out for The Wire, an HBO miniseries by the people behind Homicide and The Corner.
Oh, thanks, I’ll have to look for it. I didn’t find anything on the HBO website, but if i find it’s going to be on I’ll have to find someone with HBO to tape it for me.
