He Crossed The Streams: RIP, Harold Ramis

Thanks for the laughs, Mr Ramis.

You’ve entertained us well over the years.

I’m sadder about this than I thought I would be - always thought he seemed like an nice person, and I loved his work.

This is so sad. He directed so many funny films, but with Groundhog Day, he made one for the ages.

Bedazzled (2002) is immensely viewable. I like to think it’s because everyone looks like they had a blast making it.

I bet you’re right. And I bet fifty years from now people will still be watching and enjoying it, which isn’t a bad legacy.

RIP.

Damn.

Now who are we gonna call? It’s going to be hard to lighten up. Well, what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn’t one today.

In the immortal words of Jean Paul Sartre, ‘Au revoir, gopher’.

Too bad.

He was a man who knew funny.

Even his misses weren’t that bad.

The bodies of work this man was involved in is amazing.

RIP Mr. Ramis

Ugh, of all the celebrity deaths in the past few years, this one hits me the hardest. I bonded with my best friend over Ghostbusters, and I watch Groundhog Day with my girlfriend every year on our anniversary (February 2nd).

Well FUCK, where the hell did the universe got the idea that it was allowed to do this to my childhood?, this is simply not right.

What they said. I don’t think I ever saw any of this work that I didn’t like. RIP.

Agreed. I really haven’t felt this way since Phil Hartman.

I’m sure he has a really, really big twinkie waiting for him in Heaven.

One of my favorite Haold Ramis scenes

Wow. That really sucks. Groundhog Day is the best ever.

Oops… someone beat me to the punch. Reported as a duplicate.

It’s only fitting to have four threads about Ramis’s death, as he did direct Groundhog Day.

Let’s say this Twinkie represents the normal amount of sadness I feel when I hear about a celebrity death. Based on this morning’s report of the death of Harold Ramis, it would be a Twinkie thirty-five feet long weighing approximately six hundred pounds.

sad, sad, sad. I had a crush on him when I saw “Stripes.”
now that I’m 61, 69 seems way too young to die. No, it’s too young, period.
He certainly left a great legacy in comic film. wonder if he and Bill Murray ever stopped their feuding and talked to each other again.
