I looked about 20 minutes ago and I was still well ahead but I guess Brees must’ve scored 2 TDs since then. Hamlet has a pretty significant projection lead now although it can still go either way. It’s likely to go down to Tee Higgins.
Tee Higgins indeed. I need 24 yards receiving from him, something that he’s done all 12 games he’s played in this year. But they’re playing the Steelers and no Joe Burrow.
Shit. Now I have to watch the frickin Bengals. That’s punishment enough.
Oh for fucks sake, I can’t catch a break in this league. I lead the regular season a lot and then lose in the playoffs. By less than a point. And I’m gonna score like 150 points next week just to rub in my non-championship.

Ain’t that the truth. I’m over here keeping track of an alternate universe where I’m in the playoffs, seeing how I’d be doing. (I’d be up against Hamlet next week.)
I’m also contemplating whether or not to tank for the #8 draft pick, instead of the #1. It would be really nice if we did it Kentucky Derby Style, where everyone ranks their preferred draft order, and top pick chooses their best slot, etc. It’s easy to implement, and easy to opt out if you don’t care about it. I hate tanking, and that would be a good solution.
That’s a good system and I think we should do it for playoffs, too, if that’s possible within yahoo. Top seed should get to pick which team they want to play every week.
What a frustrating finish to the season. I was unavailable to make any changes when it was announced Zeke would actually be playing.

Just in case you’re not totally burned out by fantasy football or pick ‘ems or survival picks or of NFL football, I created a group, entitled SDMB (I know, I’m super-original), for NFL.com’s playoff challenge.
The gist of it is you pick players you think will score the most fantasy points, and if their team is eliminated, you pick new players. But if their team wins, you get bonus points (2x, 3x, 4x) for as far as they go through the playoffs. So it’s an interesting mix of fantasy and pick ‘em games.

The league is renewed in Yahoo but someone should definitely make a thread and start sending out PMs. I can’t remember if Wilson or Munch is doing it.
