Hey @SenorBeef, just in case it becomes relevant for a tie-breaker, are you still able to swap in Kyle Rudolph for Mark Andrews (COVID) on my week 12 lineup? Doesn’t change the week’s result, but depending on tiebreaks it could matter for playoff seeding.
Also, I see a notice on the league page about enabling playoff reseeding. Is this something we want to use?
@Omniscient - are you sure what you posted applied to this league? Munch and I are the co-commissioners in this league, and I don’t see you having Mark Andrews in week 12… but I may be missing something…
Just a weird observation. There’s 2 teams with Byes in the consolation bracket and 2 teams on the bottom with no games. Seems like they could have just filled in the consolation bracket since it doesn’t count for anything.
Yup, I’m grateful for the bye. I need Murray to light it up and he’s been just mediocre to bad fantasy wise the last 4 weeks, knocking me out of the money in my other league
Just a reminder this week that there are 2 games on Saturday, along with the Thursday offering.
I’m depressedly following along to the playoff bracket, seeing how I’d fare if I’d gained 8 yards over the course of the season. So far, I’d have beaten Dave in our alternate-universe matchup.
I didn’t really deserve to beat Hamlet, but Mike Williams’ back injury is a really crap way to get knocked out of the playoffs. On the bright side, I didn’t have anyone on my bench who I could have started in his place. If I’d started the Washington defense I would have won, but it would have been pretty crappy for Hamlet to be knocked out by two defensive TDs.
I greatly dislike winning die to injuries, especially a 0 by a player hurt in the first quarter. NFL has injury backups, but in fantasy, we dont, so one 0 can mean a lost week.
Yeah, I had two in-game injuries as well - Fant went scoreless, and Deebo got all of 0.90. But losing by 21 it’s hard to feel too bad about it. I guess I could have won if I’d started Tua over Watson, plus had started Gus Edwards, but I never really thought about doing either of those.
That’s another thing I dislike about fantasy post mortems. “If you had started [some #4 WR who just went off for one game instead of Deandre Hopkins, you would have won.” Great. Like there’s a world where that happens.
Playing Senor Beef this week and I’m the underdog. With Zeke underperforming all year and injuries to Brees and potentially Keenan Allen, I’m not super-confident. But, on the plus size, I get to root against the Bears’, particularly Allen Robinson (who I love as a real-life player) and David Montgomery (who, to me, is pedestrian unless playing bad defenses; and the Seahawks, particularly Russell Wilson (another player I love in real life) and DJ Metcalf (one of my biggest misses in draft talk, I thought he was just a workout warrior, but he’s pretty darn good). C’mon Minnesota and Washington defenses!!!
Tonight was good for me. Josh Jacobs put up a good game, and Keenen Allen almost got shut out. Yahoo puts me as a 76% favorite.
I haven’t been able to win this league yet despite having the best team in the league a few times, always had a bad game in the playoffs. I’m hoping this year is finally the year from me. My team is pretty well balanced except a gaping hole at TE, but that can be overcome.
Just waiting for Tyreek Hill to go down with an injury to join Keenan Allen and Zeke Elliot. I hate losing because of injuries. Just put up a lot of points, Beef, so I don’t feel so bad.
