HE is gay? Who the hell woulda thunk it...

I am a huge fan of the show, but I must admit that when I first started watching it, I thought that they’d got Sheldons characterisation wrong.

Instead of coming across as a Geek/Nerd, he seemed to me to be acting like a very camp gay.

So I’m not stunned with amazement.

Still love the show though.

Derren Brown.

I’d give one of my testicles to have him on our team.

Is that a ball team?

You need not say more than:

Reading between the lines of the obituary and appreciations of Dobie Gray, I’m wondering if he was. And if he was, I had no inkling.

Heh heh heh.

I have scoured the internet and have not found any written proof of Daniel Davis’ sexual orientation. That being said, about 10+ years ago I read somewhere online that he was seeing quite a bit of a male member of show Mr. Davis was in. It MAY have been during his “La Cage” appearance but I’m not 100% sure. This info is no longer on the internet. Around that same time I read an “all about” article on Mr. Davis. He came across as a no-strings, I want to be alone person. He seemed to thrive on his privacy and ability to be able to go between NY and LA at the drop of a hat(i.e. NOT a homebody). He also seemed to frown upon permanent relationships and even mentioned that no one place was home to him even though he spends most of his time in NY. Doesn’t make a difference what his preference is as long as he’s happy.

I am thinking the site in a less than reliable source?

Wow. A 2004 zombie, resurrected in 2011 and again today, and darned if Alice isn’t the first thing I see! Oh, and he’s not gay. He had a five year relationship with Cindy Laing prior to his marriage. That marriage, to Sheryl, has lasted since the ‘70’s and produced three kids. You should see pics of Alice and Sheryl. They’re obviously still rocking’!

No pics in this but they are easy to find & yes, they are. Especially Sheryl.

Kevin Spacey, long rumored to be gay, has come out - and not under ideal circumstances: http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/30/entertainment/kevin-spacey-allegations-anthony-rapp/index.html

Finally. However, it was like Anderson Cooper coming out. Like we haven’t figured this out??

Pretty much all of them - apparently my gaydar is hopeless broken.

I never really gave it any thought before, but I have to admit that after hearing the news, I thought: Well, that’s not surprising!

Huh. I thought Spacey had been out for a while. I appreciate him directly acknowledging his bisexuality to the press, though.

Or Rob Halford, the former Judas Priest singer who announced about 20 years ago, “I know that I have been a gay man all of my life.” He definitely hid in plain sight.

I recently saw something on another site where someone told a story about being at a party in the early 1980s and Styx was in the tape player. Another party guest said, “Get rid of that gay shit and put on some Priest!” :stuck_out_tongue:

Their bassist, Chuck Panozzo, who is back in the band after a long hiatus that was mostly related to his AIDS diagnosis around 1990, published an autobiography a few years ago that is on recommended reading lists for GLBT teenagers and those who love them. It’s mostly about what it was like for him growing up gay in an Italian Catholic family in the 50s and 60s, and later being that way in the world of 1970s arena rock. It contains very little profanity and no explicit descriptions of sexual activity or drug use.

When I bothered to think about it, I generally had him at a Kinsey 2 or something. He has one of the greatest lines ever about bisexuality: “Women often think I’m gay and try to convert me. I let them.”

My parents still have a hard time believing that Rock Hudson was gay.
