Diverticulitis can cause many of those symptoms- pain, loss of appetite (that also comes from getting older), and more.

But I’ve been a little better since I got over that intense, but short virus or whatever it was, albeit, the day and day after I had to put my dog down were bad-- really didn’t eat anything.
So I think it’s just a combination of some unknown, stealth virus, and stress.
But the main worry was a recurrence of my volvulus, and that is not the case. So, not apparently any kind of emergency. And if I lose ten lbs over it, that won’t hurt me. I didn’t start out exactly undernourished.

They snipped a few polyps from my stomach, but that has happened before. Biopsied one, nothing. They even could just be a side effect of acid-reducing meds I take, apparently, and I’d be way more at risk for bad outcomes if I weren’t taking the meds, and popping Rolaids, or even famotidine.
All negative on the Pap test, too.
