Heart Throbs/Sex Symbols in their prime

As an alternative to slugging it out with logic etc., post links to hotties from those halcyon days. I’ll start. Linda Ronstadt, back in the day:

Mrs. L. totally had a thing for this fellow:

I give you Megan Fox in the first Transformers movie.

David McCallum aged well in to his 70s and 80s-- Ducky in NCIS-- but in the 1970s, he was gorgeous.

Interesting factoid: McCallum’s wife Jill Ireland left him to marry Charles Bronson-- contrasting types, eh?

Here’s one for both predilictions…I was changing channels on a lazy afternoon last Sunday and found ‘Viva Las Vegas’ playing. Had to watch through at least the on-stage dance scene-- Elvis and an early 20s Ann-Margret get up on stage and dance together, and I have to think it was about as hot as it got on a 1964 movie screen. It’s no surprise they had a long-term affair as a result. When they fall to the floor on stage in each other’s arms laughing at the end, it was clear they weren’t two actors just pretending to like each other.

Just a reminder: Threads like this are OK as long as they’re restricted to actors, models, and other professionals whose appearance is relevant to their job (which everyone so far is doing fine on). Politicians, businesspeople, and others for whom appearance isn’t a primary job qualification, however, are not.

WHEW! That was fantastic! Both of them absolutely in their prime. :clap:t4:

Ann-Margret was the incarnation of the term “sex kitten.”

Yeah, right? Though more of a tigress in that scene :tiger:

I think the phrase you’re looking for is “kitten with a whip”.

Check out the hot babe on the right.

David Cassidy’s face adorned my walls when I was a kid.

Eh, when I hear “kitten with a whip”, my mental image is of the kitten being comically inept at whipping. Actually, comic ineptitude is my image of kittens in general. The association of “kitten = sexy” just doesn’t click for me.

I’ve pointed this out before.

For a movie with three people in the prime of their youthful attractiveness, check out Blood And Sand. It stars Tyrone Power, Rita Hayworth, and Linda Darnell. Tyrone in toreador pants, Rita playing the Spanish guitar, and Linda in beautiful lacy Spanish dresses. They and the technicolor movie are a treat for the eyes.

Re: Ann-Margret and “kitten with a whip”:

Re: heart throbs - Tuesday Weld:

AKA Thalia Menninger.

Yep. That’s who she’s always been for me.
Although I was a barely-conscious ten-year old, I was irritated at Dobie for lusting after Thalia while Zelda, the real prize, openly adored him.

“Now cut that out!”

“It’s a reflex.”

Unfortunately, my Tuesday Weld/Yvette Mimieux/Carol Lynley/Jill Hayworth differentiator fuse doesn’t function as efficiently as my Donna Douglas/Melody Patterson fuse

Poopsie.
