I don’t know what the law says where **Shakes **is from, but around here courts won’t make orders that can’t be enforced. It tends to make them look ineffectual. And since it would be impossible to enforce an order that **Shakes **not dream about certain things, I’m thinking the order simply be that **Shakes **be forbidden to sleep at all. Sounds reasonable to me.
But seriously, now I want to have a Doper dream just to see what ensues.
The only board-related dream I’ve ever had was a lot less interesting than the OP’s. I dreamed one night that I was listening to the news and they announced that Hugh Hefner had died. And my first response was to go check if I had him as a Celebrity Deathpool pick.
I’ve had a few dreams about this place, one of the bigger, more memorable ones was how–to reply to a topic–we’d write the messages on a little (real life) note and then leave it outside the person’s door.
Then the person would open their door, gather all the thin scraps of paper with messages written on then, take them inside, and read them one by one.
I missed the legendary Dopefests of Yore, I missed the Doper Marriage Train, and now I missed Sexy Doper Dreams… sigh

For some reason this one seems particularly disturbing. I have no idea why.

Besides, I’ve already shared my story about how when I was new and naive to the internet I got into a sex chat with someone and it didn’t dawn on me til after the fact that person I was chatting with was probably a dude posing as a woman.

Nah, I actually should have said this in my OP, but I don’t recall ever interacting with this lady in the first place. I mean, I may have at some point during my 13 year membership here, I just don’t remember. (Dreams are weird like that.)
The lady I’m speaking of isn’t as prolific a poster as she used to be.

Yeah, I sometimes have dreams about Dopers, both those that I have and haven’t met. Usually it’s the ones I play video games with, so I can at least fill in the voices.
One of the silliest was that Unauthorized Cinnamon and Dark2Phoenix were really, really late meeting me and oft wears hats for dinner. Dark2Phoenix had been attending a fundraiser because he was running for political office.* They felt so bad about being late that they gave us a lift back home in their private jet.**

I surprisingly don’t have dreams about Dopers but I ALWAYS dream about random Facebook friends. Because I usually check out Facebook before I go to bed and I tend to dream about people I know IRL and I know all of my Facebook friends IRL. So I’m planting the seeds before I fall asleep.
I also don’t really have sex dreams too much, and I’m glad because if I was, and I always dreamt about my friends…ugh…
Yeah, what tends to happen is that if I dream anything SDMB-related, it will somehow tie in to the last topic I read on the Dope. Hence the North Korea dreams.
Just to Charter membership. They won’t tell us Teeming Masses what it takes to get to be a Moderator without lawyers and dark rituals being involved.
