What’s the perfect weight for someone who is 5’4’’?
There is no such thing. It depends upon one’s build. What is a proper weight for a light boned, slight build type is much lower than for someone who is bigger bones and has a stocky build. Also, if you do any type of weight training to develop your muscles, that will add to your weight. Muscle is denser than fat.
I think women in particular have been given unrealistic perceptions regarding ideal weight by the medical and diet industries.
I agree with wonderwench. According to the BMI tables, a 5’4" woman could be anywhere from 105 to 145 lbs and be a healthy weight. I think the bodyfat % is a more important gauge - women should be around 20% to 25% bodyfat, and anything from 35% onwards is overfat.
967g
Nope it’s just changed, it’s now 967.5. Keep up Kid!
Bah, I’m not into tht J-lo booty. Heck, if I had my drothers it’d be 964g. I’m such a pig…
But at least you are a self-aware pig.
I’ve just checked my BMI and it says that at 5’10" 192 lbs I’m almost obese. Wha?? I don’t look/feel obese. I played with it and I was “overweight” until about 170 lbs. I don’t think that I’d be very healthy if I were to drop 22 lbs.
Point is: perfect weights are ridiculus.
