You brought up the dreaded meatless chili topic on the SDMB. It probably had beans in it. Duck.
Apparently there is a tradition in the DIL’s family to have chili and cornbread on Halloween. I guarantee she’ll be complaining about the local air quality over the next day and a half.
My eldest son’s GF came over today… presumably to hand out candy and to get used to the fact that there are kids out there who Trick r Treat. She came over in costume, took off her shoes, as is polite, and has been hanging in my son’s room. The dor has been knocked on a few times and the first three times she got it. I’ve been handing out treats ( expensive this year, huh? ) until my knee started to get sore. She’s still in my son’s room.
I guess that I just have to accept that there won’t be many treats handed out in this house tonight…
Well, words that spill into the air can disturb the air quality.
Two hours of preparation for ten minutes of trick or treating. During the first snow of the year.
Aw, well, he had a blast.
Happy Halloween everyone.
I remember trick or treating in the snow. So glad the Wee Weasel had fun!
I found it helps to immediately snap a pic of the bill or receipt if it can be done in good form.
Yes, this is very common now that Expensify and other such apps demand you text them a photo of the receipt the moment you run the connected charge card.
