God, so not only have I not seen as many Kevin Bacon movies as I’ve should’ve, I don’t remember him being in ones I HAVE seen? (I totally didn’t remember the Planes, Trains, & Automobiles clip either.)

I always think of him as the Footloose guy, then draw a blank, which is a shame.

I mentioned upthread that Kevin Bacon (and Kevin Bacon’s lovely and talented wife, Kyra Sedgwick) have supported a number of charities. It might interest you all to know that Kevin Bacon actually started a charitable organization of his own, appropriately named “SixDegrees.org”. The goal of the organization seems to be simply to encourage support of charities in general, which is a very good thing in my opinion.
