Hellraiser-Halloween crossover?

I just heard a rumor from the clerk at my local Hollywood Video store: A Hellraiser-Halloween series crossover is in the works. What’s more, the company which has bought up the rights to both series, and presumably is handling the crossover project, is – get this – DISNEY! Does anybody know enough to confirm or deny this?

Sounds like someone’s taken the report of one early script’s ending of Freddy vs. Jason (the two duelers end up shackled in Hell, and Pinhead walks up to them and says, “Well, gentlemen, what seems to be the problem?”) and taken it to a rather… odd place.

IOW, doesn’t have the ring of truth to me.

There is a new “Hellraiser” movie coming out apparently:

But no mention of Michael Myers or Jamie-Lee Curtis being involved (the only two elements of “Halloween” that could conceivably make a crossover.)

Haloween and Hellraiser are both owned by Disney, though - after a fashion. They’re both owned by Mirimax/Dimension, which is part of the same corporate entity as Disney.

Ugh. Hollywood, please, stop making “haunted website” movies. The idea is profoundly stupid.
But I’d probably watch a Hellraiser/Halloween movie. Michael Myers could be explained as a failed cenobite, maybe.

I’ve heard this idea kicked around some. Of course, every since FvJ, I’ve heard rumors for just about every horror movie icon pairing you can think of.
