I downloaded Kazaa software, and then I got rid of it. But there is still something which has not gone. There is a box that appears that says “Connected” whenever I connect to the internet. It is in the bit to the left of the system tray, and is just like all the boxes you get for each window yyou have open in IE. But with this one I cant close it by right clicking.
It’s not causing any real problems, but it’s just annoying. How can I remove it?
When you got rid of it, did you uninstall it or just delete it?
Also, check your registry. There may be some bits lurking there. Be careful, though, and make a backup copy of the registry BEFORE making any changes.

If you ever want to use kazaa again, I recommend using kazaa lite (www.kazaalite.com), which SHOULD be spyware free.
I did uninstall it and i was using Kaza Lite.
