There is a scene where a person, perhaps a woman, is tied to a chair. Her tormentors put a motorcycle helmet on her, then hit her in the helmet with a baseball bat.
We’re kinda thinking twin peaks? But i only really saw a few episodes of that. But i definitely remember seeing something with a scene like that, probably from the same time-ish as twin peaks. Any ideas?

What did i watch within the past few weeks that had the Longmire guy as like a minor character. Like maybe a cop show with him as a mayor or police chief? I know it was NOT Longmire because i haven’t been subjected to that in months ( not that it’s a bad show. I only watch it when someone else is.)

I love The Meg, so there’s something for everyone out there. I love watching giant CGI monsters torment humanity, plus I had read the book so my expectations were very, very, very, very, very low.
The first thing I thought of was the 2003 film King of the Ants. The victim was male and they put padding on his head and hit him with a golf club. Once a day for several days. Quite a disturbing flick.
