Back in the nineties I had a CD. I’ve lost it and I’m trying to see if I can replace it. The first problem is that I don’t remember its name.
It was somewhat based on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. But it wasn’t the official soundtrack. Its title was something generic like “Pulp Fiction Type Music”.
And, no, I don’t remember any of the specific songs that were on it.
I’m guessing lieu nailed it, but this is just to say that if you ever come across a Dick Dale ['60’s surf rock guitar god] G.H. collection on sale or in a used bin, buy it. (“Miserlou” is one of his hits.)
No, it wasn’t the Tarantino Collection. This CD appeared to have no official connection to Tarantino or Pulp Fiction. Basically it seemed to be a collection for people who liked the kind of music that was in the movie soundtrack. It wasn’t either one of these - herehere -but this gives you the idea. It might be this but I can’t be sure.
