I just bought a mini-trampoline because a friend had one and it was fun to use, and she said it was a great way to keep fit. Two questions:
Does anyone have any links to sites with good trampoline exercises on? (This is a little mini “trampette” trampoline). I found many sites selling them, but not giving decent exercise advice.
All these sites are full of hype about how amazing the mini-trampoline is, how it’s the best form of exercise, how “rebound exercise” is wonderful for your lymphatic system, etc etc.
So, snake oil or miracle? Can any docs/experienced exercise junkies explain if this is true or not?
have you tried looking under rebounding? I used to know a good site but they have appeared to disapear of the bet so I will look around to see if i can find another
Hi Honey! Wow you look bushed! That must have been some workout.
Yeah I wanted to do the regular circuit but other guys convinced me to bounce on a little trampette for a half hour instead. It was all I could do hang onto that little devil.
I have seen a number of home videos of people leaving their teeth on nearby objects and other various accidents. How easy is this and what precautions does one need to take? I am afraid it may be one of those things which is much more dangerous than it looks. (I just read in the news about three young women who where killed instantly when their jetski collided with a boat. It seems they thought they could just break at the last moment or something.)
I personally know two people, in their teens and twenties respectively, who broke their ankles on the things. That’s broke, not strained and they didn’t do it falling off just landing wrong when they were tired.
