Hey everyone,
My dad moved house a while ago and uncovered his old vinyl collection he’s had since he was a teenager. Lots of nostalgia for him and he’s brought it into his new living room so he can listen to it. He’s always taken his music seriously.
Well, next month is his birthday so I thought it might be nice to expand his collection a bit.
He’s into various things but Motown stands out. He’s a huge fan of Diana Ross, the Four Tops, the Supremes, but also (not Motown obviously), Creedence Clearwater and Pink Floyd.
It would be great to uncover some modern bands that follow in the footsteps of his Motown and Creedence stuff.
Any ideas?
