Help me cite an old obscure movie quote

Once I was watching an old western (probably 40’s-50’s vintage, B&W) on TV. An old grizzled miner type said something like, “There are three ways to handle a woman–and nobody knows what they are.”)

Anybody recognize that? I would like to cite it but don’t know what movie it’s from. It’s been 20-30 years since I saw it.
