Help me find a film book!

I have a new title to add to my books-on-film library; more cinematic insights per page in this book than almost any other I’ve ever come across; I’ve read the library copy three times.

Unfortunately, it seems to be pretty rare.

If anyone happens upon a reasonbly priced copy of Sirk on Sirk, by John Halliday, would you mind letting me know, in this thread? Please? The 1997 Edition, which includes additional material the author promised to leave out until the deaths of the subjects under discussion. (Turns out Ruck Hudson was gay!! NORLY!)

What do you consider a reasonable price? Bookfinder.com has several copies listed, but the cheapest 1997 edition is $31.00.

Yeah, not reasonable enough yet. . . . I’m gonna keep scouring the internets. Thanks though!

Half.com has it for fifteen dollars.

Well THAT’S closer to reasonable. I’ll email to confirm it’s the later edition. Thanks!

Here’s a link to the BestBookBuys page for that edition. Knock yourself out
