So, I’m trying to find a particular clip of music from the movie version of The Two Towers. It’s near the end of the film, when Frodo and Sam are in Osgiliath. The nazgul appears, Frodo wanders up to the parapet and they have a face to face encounter. Frodo is about to put the ring on when Sam comes diving in to save him.
During that face to face moment, the music changes to just a soprano voice singing. Very cool and eerie - only last about 8-10 seconds tops. But dammit, I can’t find it on either the original soundtrack or the Complete Recordings version. I’ve listened - online, I don’t own the CDs - to “The Nazgul Attack” and “Theoden Rides Forth” and “The Tales that Really Matter” and (I think) every track even remotely close to that moment in the film, but I’ve come up dry.
Can anyone identify which track this moment is in? Many thanks in advance!
