When I was a kid, there was a really cool store near me that sold things like rainbow mirror mobiles and star shaped sparkle snow globes. But as I was a kid, the things I owned were not always properly taken care of. The aforementioned plastic star made it’s way off my bed and down into the crack against the wall and on top of the baseboard heater. And melted.
Anyway I’d love to relive my childhood by owning one again. But my google fu is failing me. I’ve tried various combinations of keywords to no avail. Maybe the problem is that it falls under the category of ‘snow globe’ but it has sparkles instead of snow and it’s a star (extruded pentangle) instead of a globe (sphere). It’s just a clear plastic extruded pentangle with clear liquid and silver sparkles inside. It seems like something that’s simple enough to still exist, but I can’t find it. And of course the lovely store it came from is long gone.
Can anyone find me this object so that I can bask in the resurrected nostalgia of a lost childhood?
Also, snow globes are vaguely artistic… but feel free to move to the appropriate forum whatever that might be.
