I heard this on the satellite tv as background music as they scrolled the sports schedule. I think it’s a cover tune of a country song done in a heavy metal style. Lyrics: ** “Hell yeah, son of the south. Sweet potato pie and hush my mouth”** I tried googling the lyrics but just came up with country singers. This was definitely not done country style. Maybe it’s new? Anybody recognize it?
Well, those are lyrics from “Song of the South” (not son), originally by Alabama. No idea who might have covered it, though.
It might be Kid Rock, as he is a big country/rock crossover.
