Help me lace my shoes!!!

Finally I got the pair of Adidas I’ve wanted forever, and now I can’t lace them. I want them straight-laced like so, but there’s 7 pairs of holes, and I don’t wanna skip the top or bottom ones cause it looks dumb!!!

There has GOT to be a way to do this. Somebody here knows it. Help me! My flyness is at stake, here.

At the bottom pair of holes, instead of having the lace above the tongue (inserted from the top), place it below the tongue (inserted from from underneath.

Because of the way the symmetry of that lacing procedure works, it can only be used for even pairs of eyelets. The best you can do is to, at the very bottom, bring the lace from one side back over to the other side, resulting in a doubled lace for the bottom pair of eyelets. However, from there you can follow the directions as if your bottom pair were the next pair up, which will allow it to work for odd pairs of eyelets.
