Help me make up a Judgement Day playlist

As some of you might be aware, May 21st - this coming Saturday - has been declared Judgement Day, the end of the world, by some of the more true believers (and less rational thinkers.)

I hope you have all made your peace with the Lord!
And since, nothing you do in your daily life will matter after Saturday, why not help me put together a playlist of “end of the world” songs to celebrate the upcoming event?
Obviously It’s the End of the World As We Know It by REM is first song on the list. What else should I include?
And do hurry up with your suggestions, folks. I am working under a deadline here!

“If There’s A Hell Below, We’re All Gonna Go” by Curtis Mayfield

Tom Lehrer - “We Will All Go Together When We Go”
Barry McGuire - “Eve of Destruction”

Fire”, by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown.

There’s a song by Johnny Cash that’s called something like “When the Man Comes to Town”. It’s perfect for this.

Morrisey’s “Every Day is Like Sunday”

Seeing that May 21 is also the 31st anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back, I recommend the Imperial March.

One more…Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds “Red Right Hand”

Rapture, Blondie.

Hell’s Bells–AC/DC

Flirting with Disaster-Molly Hatchet

and of course, the immortal Free Bird

“Knocking on Heaven’s Door” Warren Zevon version.

The other Lenin.

In the year 2525.

Camouflage - The Great Commandment
The Hives - Tick Tick Boom
Men Without Hats - Pop Goes the World
Midnight Oil - Dreamworld
Nickelback - Burn It To The Ground
R.E.M - Fall On Me
Social Distortion - Ring Of Fire (or the Johnny Cash version)

“Waiting for the End of the World” by Elvis Costello
“Ever Since the World Ended” by Mose Allison
“It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue” by Dylan
“The End of the World” by Skeeter Davis
“Time is Tight” by Booker T. & the M.G.'s

Two Suns in the Sunset-- Pink Floyd

The End

Both the Doors song and the Beatles one.

“King of the World”, by Steely Dan, is sort of a general post-apocalypse song. (“If I stay inside/I might live till Saturday…”)

“Nostradamus”, by Al Stewart, is about the titular loony’s predictions of the End Times, but it might be a bit non-obvious.

There must be a lot of gospel songs and spirituals that deal with the Judgment Day. Speaking of which – “Get Happy”; I’d probably go with the Ella Fitzgerald version.

A few tunes that aren’t really about the end of the world but have appropriate titles:

Out of Time (Rolling Stones)
No Time (Guess Who)
It Ends Tonight (All American Rejects)

And maybe you could finish your set with a tune from Porgy & Bess:

“It Ain’t Necessarily So”!!!

[nitpick]Technically isn’t this just the Rapture, not Judgement Day? The two terms are not synonymous. If the nutballs can’t even keep that straight…[/nitpick]

“Judgment Night” - Biohazard and Onyx, from the soundtrack to the film of the same name.

U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday
R.E.M. - It’s The End of the World as we Know it.
Bob Dylan - Gotta Serve Somebody
1999…I mean 2011 remix by Prince.

I was psychotic as I spoke this, forgive me if I go astray
But when I woke this morning, it was the 20th of May…

They say Two Thousand Eleven party over, but it’s ok.
Cuz tonight I’m gonna party like tomorrow’s Judgement Day
P.S. See you all Monday Morning…Harold Camping…LOSING…
