Help me pick out some gifts

Ooh, those are nice. I’ll have to see if her ears are pierced. And if it says sterling silver, does that guarantee it’s hypoallergenic? My ex had a real problem with things that weren’t.

Here is a pair of citrine earrings, on sale. Not sure how “citrine” the color of the stones are though.

That I am not sure of. Can you find out, (ETA: If she has allergy problems) or persuade someone to find out for you?

Ooh, also nice!

Apparently the color is determined by how much the stones have been heated. The more heat, the more color they take on. I just read that it’s a bad idea to leave them out in the sun for too long, as they’ll discolor.

I could try to find out, but I’d rather just play it safe. If only there were some sort of resource, like a message thingy, full of people who are collectively experts on every topic imaginable, then I could just find out more on the nature jewelry allergies. Do you know if anything like that exists?

Hey, today is my birthday and I knew very well nobody was throwing me a party. So, I went to the Totally Decadent Mom and Pop Doughnut Shop Known Throughout the City and bought three dozen of their half-pound whoppin’ doughnuts.

Whee! Much fun and I get lots of good wishes, and everybody gets yummy doughnuts.

And I wear copious amounts of jewelry.

Maybe next year.

Happy Birthday!

I just found a lot of leaf pendants, and a gorgeous amber pendant item! While it isn’t citrine, it’s very Autumnal, don’t you think? (ETA: And CHEAP too! I’d buy it if I had money free this month!) This pin is neat too, but maybe a bit too much?

Or, you could just go for a pretty necklace that suggests Autumn with it’s colors? Or a November Italian charm bracelet? (I was born in Autumn myself, and I’m fond of leaf motif things.)

Dang, girl, you’re good at this!

I’d love to find a charm or pendant from this site. A necklace can be so much more than just a string of rocks. When I make a necklace for myself, I always put some sort of charm thingy on it. Of course, he-man that I am, I usually choose a skull or shark tooth or 16-ounce steak or something.

I like the leaf idea, and it’d be nice to find something like what you’re showing me on that site. One stop shopping and stuff. But look at the bottom of that linked page. Wouldn’t that be nice for Steph?

Citrine pendants: one, two, three, four, five, six.

Earrings: One

(I probably wouldn’t give a ring, unless I was sure of the person’s ring size but putting these up for you to look at, in case.)

Rings: One, two

Aieee! You linked the site I must not look at! It makes my husband quail and shiver. (I’m addicted to beads, you know.) I’ll look around there and see if I can spot anything though. What were you gonna attach a charm to?

Er? This? confused

No good?

A citrine necklace.

Is she a mom? I’ve spotted some stuffs on Fire Mountain Gems, were you considering putting together a necklace for her? Cause if so, give me a bit and I can link some things that’d look good together for a Fall motif necklace.

Not yet, but she’s looking mighty pregnant.

This is a tad expensive, but it’s along the leaf lines.

Yeah, I’ll make a bead necklace with a charm. In fact I’ll make three. I wonder if Anaamika would like this.

I got some ideas, but don’t want to spoil things. (What I’m thinking can be varied for individual projects, and I don’t think will break your bank.) Check your PMs.

Rebooting the computer, be right back. I saved my idea to a word document. If you want I can PM it to you also?

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww cute elephant! melts into puddle of goo

I’m sorry, was there something?
