A co-worker is looking for a song title - it’s a sad song - talks a lot about Time. She shays it either is, or sounds liek the Bee Gees - it’s definitely a “golden oldie”.
I know this isn’t a lot to go on, any help is welcome

All I can think of is Time is on My Side by the Stones, also covered by the Moody Blues.
The Zombies did Time of the Season (for loving).
The BeeGees did Time Is Time.
Time is time
Don’t give me no wrong in makin’ love
Love is love, turn me around till you burn me up
Now is now, we master the world
And time will make it all right , all right
Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce?
If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that Id like to do
Is to save every day
Till eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you
It’s not a sad song, per se, but the verses are in a minor key.
Turn, Turn, Turn by the Byrds?
and Time Waits For No One (and it won’t wait for me).
The Electric Light Orchestra had an album in the early '80s called “Time,” and many of the songs had a science fiction-y flavor to them. Some ELO songs do sound like the BeeGees: Time (Electric Light Orchestra album) - Wikipedia
The Alan Parsons Project also had a sad-sounding song called “Time” about… well, time. It could also be mistaken for a BeeGees tune: Time lyrics - THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT
Also “Driftwood” by the Moody Blues. It has the recurring line, “Time waits for no one at all, no not even you.”
Al Stewart’s Time Passages?
Not old old (mid 80’s) but DeBarge’s “Time Will Reveal” features a man’s high pitched girly voice similar to Barry Gibb.
I’ll bring all of these suggestions to her, so far we know -
It’s not the Stones or The Byrds. It’s not Jim Croce or The Zombies.
Time after Time by Cyndi Lauper?
Nah – her voice is way lower than Barry Gibb’s.
Frida of ABBA recorded a song called Time from Abbacadabra, the first show to use ABBA’s music. But the song is so rare I can’t image anyone ever hearing it in passing.
Rio, by Duran Duran?
I have no idea what the song might be based on the vague description, but as one who remembers hearing Beegees songs on the radio as they were released I am distressed at the notion that they might be considered “golden oldies.”
“Fly Like an Eagle” by Steve Miller?
Time keeps on slippin’ (slippin’…slippin’)
Into the future…
Or maybe “More Than a Woman” by the Bee Gees:
Oh say youll always be my baby
We can make it shine, we can take forever
Just a minute at a time.
pozo seco singers had a song called “time.”
only lyric i remember was “time, oh good, good time, where did you go?”
Bee Gees - I’ve Gotta Get A Message To You
FTW
**Your Move ** by Yes?
