Help me with a song tittle - sounds like the Bee Gees

Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is” by Chicago?

Oooh! A wave of nostalgia just washed over me.

I’m betting on The Alan Parsons Project one, another nostalgia trip.

Culture Club did “Time (Clock of the Heart)” back in the early 80s. I’ve confused them with the Bee Gees when I’ve got the music on as background noise.

Robin

Gosh they were some skinny skinny men.

And Maurice and Robin had changed less at the time of Robin’s death (the last time I saw recent pictures of them) than Barry had by the disco era. Someone check Maurice’s attic for a portrait. o.o

[nitpick]It was Maurice who died, not Robin.[/nitpick]

My mistake. :smack:

First of May?

It’s been covered by Lulu, among others.

Including the Bee Gees, coincidentally.

Could that song have been: “Reflections Of My Life” by Marmalade? They were a Scottish band and the song was released in 1970.

A poster joins to answer a ten year old question about a song with the theme of time.

I’m guessing the song is *Ironic *by Alanis Morissette.
mmm

Well, I know this is a zombie, but they’re both dead now.

You started a joke.

It is now.

Didn’t mean to, I just felt like I had to get a message to her.
mmm

I know this is a zombie, but if it wasn’t the Alan Parsons one I wonder if it was “You Win Again.” There’s a lyric that’s repeated a few times, “So little time, we do nothing but compete”. But I guess we will never know. I do love that song though. It was nice to see these guys again when I watched the video to confirm my memory.

He didn’t see that the joke was on him. Now he’ll start to cry which will start the whole world laughing.

Actually; I stumbled onto this site as I too was searching for an old song (late '60’s;
early '70’s) that I always thought was by the Bee Gees. As this site wasn’t helping I went to the Billboard list of 100 top songs of 1970 and found it there.
I even mistakenly thought that “Reflections Of My Life” was on the soundtrack
in the Jack Wild/Mark Lester movie entitled ‘Melody’ (which had almost all Bee Gees
songs) but it was not.
Not wanting to let a fellow searcher of songs down; I signed-up for this site.

Wow.

Darn it, I don’t work with that person anymore - we don’t even live in the same city anymore. Thank you for your guess though
