Help name a new kitten

She’s a lovely kitty.

How about “Bella,” for “Decibel”?

Or if you want something music related…the litter of Russian Blue kittens my Grace came from had names like Aria Bella (that was Grace’s initial name), Sonata, and Lyric.

Roland V-Synth.

Tibby

Tibby the Tabby

I’ve had many cats throughout my life. All but two were named Tibby. They all lead wonderful, happy lives, except for the two who were not named Tibby.

There’s a Tibby snuggled up next to me in bed right now. Very happy cat. Loves his name.

Pick the suitable one:

  1. Alexa.
  2. Ok-Google.
  3. Siri.

Mittens Romney

If she were mine I’d name her Patches.

Cat… I don’t know anyone who has named their kitten Cat.

Symphony, because her coat is a mix of colors which all work together as a harmonious whole. Short version: Sim or Simmi.

Going with a mathematical theme, I’d call her Sine, inspired by the undulating waves on her coat.

I would call her Galaxy, because she looks as beautiful as the Milky Way.

The lil’wrekker says Tangerine for a name.

Aurora, Bringer of the Dawn.

Upon adoption of our latest feline…a solid black female, my kids pronounced that her name was to be “Skull Crusher”, if only for the shock value. We mulled it over for a while and named her “Leto”. Our older female is “Phoebe”.

Regarding sound as a basis - we had a kitten that did not make a sound. She would open her mouth and make a breathy sound. I don’t know if she lacked vocal cords, or simply never learned to make vocal noises.

We named her: Dolby

…for the noise reduction.

Roadie.

I believe everyone should have one cat in their life named Schrodinger. It isn’t the sound/light connection - its more of a quantum physics connection. Staccato makes a nice cat name - it has a little pun in there, which cats appreciate.

How about Beany for those little jelly bean toes? She’s adorable.

I like Iris and Simmi and I would have likely picked one of them by they’re too similar to the names of cats I’ve had. I’d still like to thank everyone for contributing and if you have other suggestions, I’d be glad to hear them.

Right now, I’m leaving toward Sona, short for sonata, meaning the instrumental part of a piece of music.

Note how you can see her semi-transparent, and very pointy, claws in the first picture. You can also see the change in coat in the third pic.

Paprika

As soon as I read the selections I realized that her name is Harmony as suggested above.

Aria?
She’s been in kitty quarantine for 2 weeks in my bedroom. She had ear mites and had the potential to have intestinal worms. She got the first dewormer on the 13th and the second dose today. How long after taking the second dewormer dose can cats share litters?
