Name your dog “I burning”
How about Radagast? He is partly brown, so it fits.
OK, I am a dork about Tolkien names. Radagast is a wizard, at least.
Kuri. That is the Maori word for dog. It would be unusual over there but it’s still a cute sounding name.
Rua. Also, strangely enough, derived from Maori.
Oooops this was going to be my first suggestion. Maori for fairy folk is patu paiarehe. Patu is cute and unusual too.
I wanted to call my dog Gomez, but decided on Buckley because it suited him better (both names are music related).
As soon as I saw the chihuaha link Hal, Gomez once again sprang to mind.
Very fitting if you ask me.
Since he’s got a maske, how about Zorro?
Dang! The first two names that came to mind when I saw the pic were Phantom and Zorro. However, if he’s used to his name, i.e. answers to it you might wanna consider sticking with it Hal.
He looks like a Patch to me. He’s a real cutey. Oh, and don’t worry about renaming. Dogs don’t care what you call em, as long as it’s not late for dinner.
He looks like a Waldo to me.
You could always call him Straight Dope Message Board
The Amazing Bosco?
His Majesty the Royal Germachon
According to the website he “heals on command” which will be very useful! They aren’t calling him Billy, they’re calling him Kidd, which is cool and reminds me of Captain Kidd, the pirate. Plus, he has a patch over one eye. Strap on a parrot any you have** Cap’n Kidd, the pirate dog**!
StG
All together now, …AWWWWW! He’s soooo cute!
re. names:
Punch was a mythical figure key to pagan pageantry… he was a mischievous, masked, and harlequined fellow, fostering a spirit of frivolity and playfulness.
Panza, as in “Sancho Panza,” Don Quixote’s faithful sidekick.
Shithead.
Not that I think you’re a jerk or anything, you just seem to have enough of an off-beat sense of humor to name your dog Shithead.
Bruce.
Hmmm…perhaps “Lifesaver” instead.
No, no…it’s pronounced shi-THEED.
Sorry, didn’t mean to interrupt your thread.
“Kitty”
So when people come over, and with all the cats in the room, and you call out, “here kitty, kitty…”, out pops a dog from around the corner that jumps in your lap.
And this worries you…why, exactly?
Quote = Cosmo
This is your new name BillyTheKidd …
Cosmo … what a great name…imparts a touch of magic, great intelligence and it still has a nice common touch!
BTW, cute, cute doggie…looks to me like he has a little Border Collie somewhere in his family tree
