I cocked up the recorder settings and only got 15 minutes. we’re a few epsiodes behind in the uK the episode I need spoiling is the one where the Galactica and the base stars are going to take a look at 2 pulsars, 1 red, 1 blue got as far as finding out Baltar had given that info to the cylons when it cut out on me

cheers, that did the trick, apart from - what is a “basestar hybrid”?
We’re not 100% certain. It appears to be a humanoid figure, biomechanically joined to the overall basestar, and acting as its central command unit. Basically, it’s a chick in a bathtub with gigeresque tubes in her back; she babbles pseudorandom gibberish and occasionally has some sort of orgasmic type spasm when she FTL-jumps the basestar. Interestingly, the hybrid seems to be regarded as inferior to the regular humanoid-style Cylons, as it’s been mentioned at least once that the hybrid doesn’t get to participate in votes on proposed actions, and the hybrid is not apparently counted among the “twelve models.” The gibberish was seen as important by the Xenabot Cylon, who saw mystical prophetic type stuff in the flow of words.
We’re pretty sure that’s all there is to it, at least so far, but you never know.
