Years ago while searching for songs by bands I was unfamiliar with, I compiled a batch by Caravan. Needless to say, I was blown away by all of them. When I heard the opening of “Surprise, Surprise”, the song sounded instantly familiar, even though I was sure I had never heard it on the radio and definitely never had the album. I thought maybe it was rooted in my head from hearing it as a child, but I’m sure it never made it to the AM top 40 stations I listened to in the U.S. in the 70’s.
This leaves movies or TV. Does anyone know if this song has ever appeared on a TV show, commercial, movie soundtrack, etc. ? I am positive I know it from somewhere, I just can’t figure out where, and it’s driving me batty. Any help with info on this would be appreciated!
