Need help IDing a newish electro-pop-rock song...

I heard it the other day driving home from work on the local crap alternative station. I’ve only heard it once, so bear with me…

It sounded like a male vocalist with a mid-high voice, may have been multiple vocalists, but I don’t think any were female. Upbeat, fairly driving rhythmwise IIRC, but not necessarily happy (though certainly not grim); it sounded like rock with a little bit of synthesizer/electronic noise, kind of like MGMT’s “Time to Pretend”, but faster and edgier. The only lyrics I could make out (though there were many) were what I thought was “we need a savior”, but this was definitely not religious music.

Before anyone suggests it, I know it wasn’t MGMT (at least nothing on their debut album), and I know it wasn’t Ghostland Observatory (as I’d recognize that guy’s voice anywhere).

Please help. I’ve googled and googled and I’m all googled out. Someone else here must’ve heard this and thought “hey, cool!” like I did, right? :frowning:

If you know what station it was, and around what time it was playing, you can use the song log at yes.com.

Oh, hello; you are awesome. This rocks. Internet highfives.

ETA: still haven’t found it because I have no idea when “the other day” was, so keep suggestions coming please
