Hi, I am currently “between jobs” and have a great opportunity to become an M.C. at a new club opening in the burbs of Chi-town. I guess it will be hosting a few real rock bands, and supposedly is backed by a real entertainment co.
I REALLY need the money, but am not sure I have the nads to stand up and do it. It involves cracking a few jokes, and announcing bands. I am just going to meet with the owners early next week, and spend an evening there, just to get a feel.
ANY advice for this would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED, as I have never done any standup, but my buddy, a DJ for radio, swears I could do it. Oh, any real funny guys/gals out there drop me a line, I can see what I could do. Did I mention, smee REALLY needs the money.
