he has a riddle that i can’t solve
he won’t tell me the answer and he won’t give me any clues except to say that it is intangeble

HUMANS CREATE ME
FOR HUMANS I’M USED
OFTEN HINDERD AM I
WHEN NATURE’S POWER IS LOOSED

IMAGINATION IS FOUND
SOMETIMES IN THE SKY,
MORE OFTEN ON THE GROUND.
THINK HARD NOW, DEAR READER
AND THEN ANSWER TRUE
I KNOW WHAT I AM, DO YOU?

If he says it’s intangible, then the answer can’t be ‘aeroplanes’. But I like it!

(nervously) you could try looking up a thread on the ‘words ending in -gry’ riddle. We’ve seen it a lot here, but perhaps he hasn’t.

An idea or inspiration.

Wait just a dad-blame minute here. How can something intangible have shapes and sizes?

Oh, this is a toughy. My first thought was “books”, which is not very intangible. Then I made some other tangible guesses, which are all wrong.

So now I’m stuck with “ideas”, like Phobia. Maybe a specific idea.

I was also thinking, “light sources”. Some of them are intangible, some of them blow up when lightning strikes, etc.

Originaly I was going to go for books, but like the newspaper they are very tangleble.
