Help translate these liner note abbrs.

I’m listening to a CD I’ve been trying to track down for about three months – finally got it yesterday. (Los Afro-Salseros de Senegal en la Habana)

It’s a German-produced CD of a Senegalese band (recorded in Cuba) – so the liner notes are … um … badly translated from the German, I think. The musician list on the back has initials only – g = guitar, b [I’m guessing] = bass; ts = tenor sax (I’m pretty sure about this – I bought the CD because of the sax player); perc = percussion, so I’m guessing p = piano.

So – what’s “tp”? Trumpet?

Your guesses are all correct.

I was going to ask what I won – but the CD is really bitchen, so I guess it’s one of those “prize first, contest later” deals.
