Help vinniepaz remove ShopNav spyware

ok im sorry if this has already been covered but im really computer illiterate so i have no idea what any of these posts mean.

whenever a site doesnt work (i.e. is not a real site), instead of the normal error message i get sent to this:

http://srng05.srng.net/apps/epa/epa?cid=shnv9887&s=www.SITE.com

whats the problem? how can i fix it?

vinniepaz, download Spybot as explained in the sticky. Download the latest version from the Spybot website. Update Spybot from within the program itself.

Then run it. It should remove the ShopNav spyware. If that doesn’t help, you could manually remove it using the following methods:
