The only lyrics I could pick out from it was the chorus:
stuck in the rain(s) again
…
…
stuck in the rain(s) again
It’s got sort of a rock/new wave sound to it. I’ve searched extensively for these lyrics on the 'net but can’t find anything. Any ideas?
Could it be The Payola$?
They were a Canadian band who released the album “Here’s The World For Ya” in 1985. “Stuck In the Rain” was one of the singles released.
Here.

Well, the most obvious answer I have is Eurythmics “Here Comes The Rain Again” lyrics here. Not exactly the right words you are remembering, but as you don’t recall anything else I figured it was worth a shot.
Thanks for the suggestion, but its not the Eurythmics.
Its looking pretty good that captaindoesnotlikeyou got it right with The Payolas. Now that I think about it, the song sounded like typical Payolas work. Plus, being Canadian and all, explains why any references to this song have been so difficult to find.
Watching SNL tonight…
Lindsay Lohan is only 17?!?
I am so sorry. That was supposed to be a new thread.
