Help with a podcast intro?

Hi guys,

I’m about to launch a podcast, we’ve recorded 4 episodes and have them all edited. But to make it less sterile we want a good intro. I have a clip (a wav file) I want incorporated into it, but I have no musical talents whatsoever and I don’t want it to sound janky.

The intro would be literally 10-15 seconds, are there any good places online to ask someone for help with these things? How much would be a decent offer for something so short?

Thanks!

You want someone with some decent experience in Cubase, or at worst in Garage Band. There are undoubtedly a few people here at the SDMB who can do that, but if you don’t find anyone else I have a friend who isn’t too bad at Cubase, though he’s still a relative beginner.

Is it really about the piece of software so much as the musical/jingle talent? Anyway I will take you up on your offer if I can’t figure out anyone else.

My point was if they have the software, then they’re likely musically inclined, so it’s a good place to start.
