Help with Gmail Notifier Pro

I have been using Gmail Notifier Pro to check my E-Mails for some years without any problems.

I have accounts with Hotmail, Yahoo Mail and Gmail and recently my two Yahoo Mail accounts have been giving a “failed” notice though the Hotmail and Gmail still work just fine.

I have made no changes or modifications to Gmail Notifier or my E-Mail accounts so don’t understand why Yahoo mail should be the only ones not working anymore.

As both other accounts still work I’m guessing there has been some change that I’m not aware of with Yahoo but I can’t find it. :frowning:

Any Ideas as to what the problem might be would be welcome :+1:

Yahoo stopped working on my Outlook client as well but since I deal with my email elsewhere now I haven’t been arsed to fix it yet.

Almost certainly Yahoo changed something. Turned on two-factor authentication or changed an email port or something. I do not know.

Best advice is to delete the old account and make a new one using the following details:

Mmmm! Does seem Yahoo have changed something

Not too worried about it, just a slight inconvenience

Wish they would stop “improving” things that are working just fine
