The deadline for subscription is looming…
silenus offered recently to help pay my way, but I haven’t heard a peep out of him for about a week now.
I was hoping to look for other volunteers (to whom I would owe a massive debt of gratitude), and I read the thread with the list of names…
But I can’t read the public profiles, so I don’t know anyone’s e-mail address or how to get in touch with them!

There’s a list of Dopers here–Really Not All That Bright, EddyTeddyFreddy, Q.E.D., lightingtool… it goes on. Trouble is, I can’t contact any of them. 
Not sure how the signing-up process goes–I just know I can’t do it because I have no credit card.

Please note that it’s not a big deal if you miss the “deadline” – it will just mean there’s a period of time when you can’t post, until you pay up. You’d still have the same username and ID and everything, even if there’s a gap between last free date and first paid date for posting.
