Is it possible that blood pressure medication could cause or inflame hemorrhoids? TIA.
What type of BP medicine?
If it causes chronic constipation or diarrhea, then ‘yes’.
For example, here is one BP med side effect:

The medication was Prinivil. I did not have constipation problems with it but had a series of other side effects. Since stopping the Prinivil, all of my side effects have disappeared and the hemorrhoid problem also seems to be going away (or at least is not as severe as it was). Coincidence???
