Very sorry for your loss. She sounds like a good cat.
I’m crying for Czarcasm and the Beloved – so very, very sorry for your loss – and laughing at the same time at this from Grey.
Laughing through the tears. Princess Baja will get an extra hug when I get home tonight.
I’m so very sorry for your loss…
We’ve lost our own share of beloved cats over the years. It’s always a sadness. Our sympathies for you both.
I’m so sorry.
Especially touching today, because my sister had to put her dog down today, after a few days of fighting pancreatitis. (The dog…not my sister.) Yesterday he was doing better, and we expected him to be released from the hospital today. Never happened.
I’m not a pet person, but I admit I had to go hide in the bathroom at the office for a bit when I found out. And I know that’s just a little bit of the pain that she…and you guys…are feeling.
Oh I am so sorry. RIP Zippy. You were a loved and lucky cat.
I’m so very sorry.
I am so sorry for your loss. I’ve had a lot of dogs, but my Scottie was special. I miss her as much today as when she died 8 years ago.
Zippy had the greatest life and the gentlest death any pet could ask for.
Oh so sorry
Much love to Zippy.
I’m so very sorry - you all brought much joy into each other’s lives.
Thank you for all your responses.
This morning I put the catfood in Marla’s half of the double-bowl, and she just looked at me when I didn’t put anything in Zippy’s half. Finally, after looking around to see if Zippy was going to show up, she ate her food.
My condolences on your loss.
Noo! I’m so sorry for your loss, she sounds like a great joy. Old orange cats are just the best cats! Like mine… 8 when we adopted her last year, orange and white, very loving and talkative. I’ll give her an extra hug tonight for your sake.
Cue theme from Twilight Zone. I had two barn cats, brother and sister. One would never eat until the other showed up. The day that the brother was killed, the sister showed up and instantly began eating. How she knew her brother was dead, I’ll never know.
Hugs, again.
I am so sorry for your loss. I hate being reminded that pets don’t live forever. I will give 14-year-old Bear and Niblet and 12-year-old Heidi extra belly scritchies and words of love before I go to bed.
