I’m glad nobody was harmed. That could have been really bad.
From what I could see, the well-behaved tiger was confused by the MOVING! THING! UNDER! PAWS! and jumped out of - from the tiger’s POV - harm’s way.
And then calmly wandered the seating area for a bit.
Good kitty!
I worked at Marine World/Africa USA, an animal park that had both large marine mammals, that I worked with, and large land mammals including elephants, lions, and tigers, that I had nothing to do with. A woman was attacked and injured by a tiger during a photo shoot](Client Challenge). The trainer was also injured. We sometimes forget that these are trained but otherwise wild animals and should be treated as such.
Kitty just doing what kitty does. I give it points for gumption.
It’s humans fault for trying to display these regal beasts like in circus work.
I’m more ok with Zoos if they are doing it right. So many aren’t.
But these so-called rescues in very rural areas are an outrage. Great tigers and other big cats keep in pig stys and old chicken farms.
Fed road kill or whatever rotten meat they can scrounge up.
I say yay for the Circus Tiger. I am glad no humans were harmed, sure.
You know, “ya don’t pull on Supermans cape…”
He jumped into the crowd to get scritches, yes?
If not kitty why kitty shaped?
Also, certain members of the audience have been banned from the circus for saying “pspspspsps”.
Gotta be careful with tigers. One bit me and I was just petting it!
(The Indy zoo had some cubs and people were allowed to reach in and pet them.)
